LZINC Picnic 2011
To Ron and the Entertainment Committee. Excellent job on Sunday’s LZINC picnic. A good time was had by all. Great food, drinks, and fun.
Thank you first to the Social Committee for all the hard work in organizing a very successful picnic. Thanks to Petra for helping with the set up, Jay for taking care of the beer, Andy and Suzanne & Jeff for all the games and activities for the kids and kids at heart. By the comments I’ve already seen and the great photos it appears a good time was had by all.
LZINC Sponsors hole at LZACC Golf Outing
LZINC sponsored a hole at the Lake Zurich Area Chamber of Commerce golf outing on June 27, 2011 at the Hawthorn Woods Country Club. LZINC raffled off several prizes to the chamber golfers. Thanks goes out to Susanne DePaepe of Hallmark Promotions, Inc., Petra C. Croneigh of Lake Zurich Travel & Cruise and the LZINC Membership committee.
LZINC Plants Tree for Arbor Day
On Saturday, April 30, 2011, LZINC members planted a tree in Lake Zurich’s Paulus Park in celebration of Arbor Day.

LZINC will be planting a tree at Paulus Park in Lake Zurich on Saturday, April 30, 2011 in Celebration of Arbor Day (hosted by Lake Zurich).

ARBOR DAY/EARTH DAY CELEBRATION - April 30, 9 am – 12:30 pm, Village of Lake Zurich Parks. Celebrate ArborDay/Earth Day by helping to clean up the parks followed by a celebration in Paulus Park. Includes barbecue, fun children’s activities, tree planting and pruning demonstrations, Birds of Prey presentation and more.
LZINC at the 2011 Lake Zurich Chamber Expo
LZINC was well represented at the 2011 Lake Zurich Area Chamber of Commerce Expo on March 19, 2011. A raffle was held at the EXPO for visitors to win prizes valued up to $3000. Winners will be announced on Monday, March 21 and will be posted on our website.

Holiday Party

We will all be together on Jan 9th at 5pm at Biaggi’s for our holiday get together. Please invite your spouse or significant other to this very special event. Dress is upscale. We will take our new photo for our website as well that evening. So bring your best smile too.

LZINC Present Gifts to Catholic Charities of Lake County
This year LZINC provided 10 coats along with matching gloves, hats and scarves to Catholic Charities of Lake County. On Dec.13 families from the North Lake County area were able to stop by the Catholic Charities location on Lewis Ave and pick out gifts for their children. When Tom Eccles and Ron Roberti arrived with the gifts they were greeted with much enthusiasm and were told that the shelves were pretty bare this year. The volunteers were especially thankful for the warm weather clothes for the children.
Gift Wrapping Party
Next Sunday, December 12th gift wrapping party will be at Jack and Gail Edgars at 3pm. We need to do a signup sheet for food and beverages on Thursday as well.
It was too late to adopt families so we are going to buy coats, hat’s and mittens, wrap them Sunday and then drop those off on Monday 12/13 in Waukegan. We need volunteers to do the shopping this week too. Please coordinate with Ron Roberti on this.
